Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade at the Superdome, Feb. 3
Head to the Caesar’s Superdome for an exciting evening celebrating the AFC and NFC champions as they arrive in New Orleans. Get a sneak peek of the iconic Super Bowl imagery and offer an hear from Super Bowl players and coaches during their only public appearance before the big game. Super Bowl Experience at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Feb. 5 & 6
The NFL’s immersive football festival is a family-friendly event held every year during Super Bowl Week. Here’s your chance to meet current NFL players and legends for autographs, shop for exclusive gear at the NFL Shop, enjoy interactive games and NFL FLAG clinics. Come take photos with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, race in a 40-yard dash against virtual NFL players on LED screens, and see a display featuring all 58 Super Bowl rings. Louisiana Culture Festival at French Market, Feb. 7 & 8
This festival will highlight all the cultures of Louisiana with unique booths and activations. It will feature local Native American tribes with a cultural corner with basket weaving, storytelling, and cooking and dance demonstrations. There will also be live Jazz and Zydeco performances during the festival. Learn more.
Taste of the NFL at the World War II Museum, Feb. 8, 4-7 p.m.
Net proceeds from The Taste of the NFL, the league’s largest philanthropic culinary event, will benefit national nonprofit GENYOUth’s commitment to End Student Hunger to help increase equitable access to and participation in school meals among at-risk children in New Orleans and throughout the U.S. The event will be hosted by celebrity chefs Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall, Tim Love, Lasheeda Perry, and Mark Bucher. They will be joined by over 25 culinary masters, including New Orleans superstars who will each prepare their own Taste of the NFL signature dishes. Super Bowl Host Committee Parade in the French Quarter, Feb. 8
The first-ever Super Bowl Host Committee Parade will roll on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., brought to life by Carnival legend Barry Kern of Mardi Gras World. The parade, a celebration of New Orleans hosting its record-tying 11th Super Bowl, will feature Super Bowl-themed floats, celebrity guests and athletes, marching bands, and local dance groups. Come catch a throws such as NFL-themed beads and plush footballs. Todd Graves will reign as king.
The free parade will begin at the corner of Esplanade Avenue and Decatur Street, wind its way through the French Quarter and down Decatur to Poydras Street, and end on St. Charles Avenue in the Warehouse District. It will also be broadcast live on WDSU.
