The off-Broadway hit I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change comes to Le Petit Theatre on the weekends of May 20th – 22nd and May 27th – 29th.
The musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change features a number of individual vignettes that are connected thematically, exposing every aspect of a relationship: from the happiness of the first date to the tensions of in-laws. Thankfully, subjects are examined in a humorous light, but the commentary on relationship can still be sharp, even when couched in a joke. Still, this is a love story, and a great opportunity for a date. (Though there may be some serious discussion afterwards!) The theater warns that the show is not meant for younger audiences due to mature humor and content, so please plan accordingly. The Jefferson Performing Arts Society will donate a portion of all ticket sales to Le Petit Theatre in the French Quarter.
