Tulane University hosts a Depression Era version of Shakespeare’s Julius Caeser throughout the month of June.
If you’re looking for local theater this weekend, be sure to check out Julius Caesar at Tulane University. Throughout the summer, the university will host performances of Shakespeare’s works, and June sees Caesar in a 1930's setting instead of Ancient Rome. So, forget the togas, and get ready for pinstripe suits.
Tickets are regularly $30, but this Sunday, June 19th is the "Pay-What-You-Will" performance at 7:30 p.m. While you have the option of your preferred price, keep in mind that there is a set number of seats. You may want to show up early to grab your spot, but the theater advises that "it is not required to arrive more than an hour in advance in order to guarantee a ticket."
