Carnaval Latino, a celebration of Latin music and Hispanic culture, returns this weekend, October 9th and 10th, to the New Orleans riverfront. Featured artists include Cuban dancer and singer Omara Portuondo as the Queen of Carnaval Latino as well as national rock stars Los Lonely Boys.
In addition to the music, food and drinks, participants will also be able to enjoy an amusement park — added for the first time this year! The park offers thrilling rides and games for children of all ages.
Tickets are $25 at the gate, and children 12 and under are free. The festival runs October 9th from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and October 10th from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
