Not all walks in New Orleans are pub crawls! Since 1978, serious runners and those who just love a good walk have headed to New Orleans for the Caesars Sportsbook Crescent City Classic. It's an Easter weekend tradition down here: first you costume, then you exercise, then you enjoy an amazing festival.

This event is one of the longest-running 10K races in the United States. Participants include people of all fitness levels but not everyone wears a tutu and is just out to have a good time. Since 1979, the CCC has drawn top athletes from Kenya, Ethiopia, the Republic of South Africa, England, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Mexico and Australia.

Sanctioned by USA Track & Field, the course is certified 10,000 meters and ends with a huge post-race party at New Orleans City Park. There will be live music and a "Family Fun Zone" with obstacle courses, a rock wall and inflatables.
