This year’s New Orleans Jazz Fest lineup is another great one and there are plenty of reasons to be in the Crescent City from April 27th to May 6th.
Rock icons like Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, The Eagles, The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Reunion, the Neville Brothers and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will all take the stage. Jazz Fest also includes an array of more recent rock and hip-hop stars with Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Eddie Vedder, Ne-Yo, Zac Brown Band and many, many more.
Local legends and favorites can be seen on all stages of the festival including, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, Dr. John & the Lower 911, Rebirth Brass Band and Kermit Ruffins & the Barbecue Swingers.
The New Orleans Jazz Fest will extend over two weekends, with concerts on Friday (4/27) through Sunday (4/29) and on Thursday (5/3) through Sunday (5/7). The entire festival will rock the city at the Fair Grounds Race Course, located 1751 Gentilly Boulevard, 10 minutes from the French Quarter.
